Diploma Thesis: Forecasting and extrapolation of election results
During (at the end of course — hehe) my studies I wrote a diploma thesis. Since I'm a german boy who studied in germany I wrote this thesis in the german language. It carries the original title Hochrechnung und Prognose von Wahlergebnissen (Grundlegende statistische Verfahren). It discusses the problems and explains some basic methods and procedures of the forecasting and extrapolation of election results.
Just before my diploma thesis I wrote a seminar paper about numerical forecasting methods with the original german title Numerische Prognoseverfahren (Grundlagen der Prognose von Zeitreihen). This paper discusses some basic methods of the analysis and forecasting of time series.
